easy dd™ rewards Rules
and Conditions of Entry:

Information on how
to enter this competition and prize details form part of
these Terms and Conditions.
1. Competition
1.1
Competition:
Register to receive easy dd™ alerts between Friday 22
January 2009 at 9.00am and Thursday 22 July 2010 at
5.00pm (‘Competition Period’) to go in the monthly draw
for a chance to win one of twenty-five Prezzy Cards
valued at twenty five dollars.
1.2
Promoter: directdebit.co.nz,
a business division of P C Financial Services Limited,
25 Yarrow Place, Papakowhai, Porirua (‘the Promoter’).
2. Eligibility
2.1
To qualify
to enter the Competition entrants must have registered
to receive easy dd™ alerts and must have received a
valid easy dd™ alert from the Promoter during the Competition
Period. Receipt of the valid easy dd™ alert is automatic
entry into this competition and is deemed acceptance
of these terms and conditions.
2.2
Eligible entrants will automatically receive one (1)
entry to the Competition per valid easy dd™ alert.
2.3
Competition
entry is limited to New Zealand residents.
2.4
Entrants must
be 18 years of age or over.
2.5
Entrants are
not eligible to enter the Competition or win any prize
if they are a director, manager, an employee or immediate
family member of an employee of the Promoter or are
an employee of their agencies directly associated with
this Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to
verify the eligibility of all entrants.
3. Prize
3.1
There will
be up to 25 prize winners each month for the Competition
Period who will be chosen at random from all eligible
entries received. Each monthly prize winner will receive
a Prezzy Card valued at twenty-five dollars.
4. Draw
4.1
The monthly
prize winners will be drawn at random before 5.00pm
on the fifth working day of each month following a prize
draw.
4.2
All prize draws
will be conducted at the Promoters premises under independent
supervision.
4.3
The prize winners
will be selected by computer generated draw.
5. Prize Winners
5.1
The Promoter
will attempt to notify all prize winners by email and
phone (text message) within two (2) working days of
the prize being drawn. The Promoter will attempt to
contact the prize winners using the contact details
provided by the entrants in their registration for easy
dd™ alerts.
5.2
The Promoter
will also publish the monthly winners on www.directdebit.co.nz
5.3
Only the person
who is registered for easy dd™ alerts can be awarded
a prize.
5.4
Where the winner
is required to claim the prize in person, they must
provide proper identification (eg drivers licence or
passport).
6. General
Conditions
6.1
Prizes are
non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The
Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of
equal or greater value at any time.
6.2
The Promoter
reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition
at any time without prior notice.
6.3
In the event
of any dispute regarding all matters relating to the
competition, the decision of the Promoter shall be final
and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered
into.
6.4
By entering
the competition, you hereby warrant that all information
submitted by you is true, current and complete.
6.5
The entrants
acknowledge that the promoter accepts no responsibility
or liability for any prizes being sent to incorrect
postal addresses.
6.6
The Promoter
reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has
reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached
any of these terms and conditions.
6.7
The Entrants
biographical details and names and photographs and audiovisual
recordings of the entrants may be used for publicity
purposes in all media by the promoter and entrants agree
that they must make themselves available for this purpose
and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration
for such use.
6.8
If for any
reason this competition is not capable of running as
planned including, but not limited to infection by computer
virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud,
technical failures or any other causes beyond the control
of the promoter which corrupts or affects the administration,
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the
competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its
sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
the competition.
6.9
To the full
extent permitted by law, the promoter will not be liable
to the winner in respect of any claim for any loss,
damage or injury whatsoever (including, without limitation,
any consequential, indirect, special, punitive or incidental
damages) or for any physical or mental injury suffered
by the winner or friend as a result of or in connect
with the competition or by reason of the utilisation
or application or any prize won in the competition.
6.10
The Promoter
respects privacy rights under the Privacy Act 1993 and
is required to comply with the privacy principles in
respect of the collection of personal information from
individuals.
6.11
These terms
and conditions shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
